I totally love this. Here’s a photo of Lydia taken by her friend Alex – they’re both students at Oxford Brookes, a leading West Country secretarial school I believe.
As you already know I’ve got a serious penchant for wolf sweatshirts. The floral pyjama style jeans are pretty fly – they’ve been passed down through several generation of Lydia’s family – and the checked shirt avec rolling tobacco (Drum?) in the pocket is a totally winning combo. (Once Lydia graduates to the typing pool she’ll no doubt be required to opt for a a filtered ladyfag such as the Superking or the Lambert & Butler, but for these few golden years learning the intricacies of shorthand dictation and the etiquette of serving board room coffee, she is free to puff away on the fine-cut shag with impunity).
Photographer Alex runs an excellent blog – well worth a look.

Love everything about the look! It doesn’t hurt that Lydia is a very beautiful girl…
Brookes FTW!

A great photo and love the whole look.
ha, Joe i love the description. the bit about the ‘ladyfags’ and ‘boardroom coffee’ makes me feel like i’m going to get a profession in the ’50s. Thanks again.
Ohhhh this is special. I love that it seems genuinely casual & comfortable & effortless but it’s still so quirky and interesting. Combines all my favourite elements- mixing colours, patterns, prints, textures!
She knows. What can I say? She’s got the steeze.
