What kind of a name is Blá? I’ll tell you what kind of a name: THE BEST NAME I’VE EVER HEARD.
When Katie gets back from NYC I’m going to have the “baby names” talk with her. Q: Do you know what baby name I’m gunning for? A: You guessed it. Blá.
Aside from that, this is probably my favourite picture so far. It’s totally excellent. Major props to Blá’s boyfriend for taking it. Oh, and a big shout out to Blá’s friend Deirdre from Quack + Dirk, an excellent boutique in Dublin, who also made a skirt for Katie once.

I think Blá is short for the Irish name Bláthnaid. Bláth is the Irish word for flower.

And by the way, the glasses are my prescriptions – men’s frames from specsavers! lol I love them. My favourite thing I’m wearing is the necklace my boyfriend bought me – it’s an envelope with a tiny brass ‘I Love You’ letter inside <3

I do like the outfit and Bla looks fun but the black boots with pale tights just really ruins the outfit for me. The necklace, glasses and dress are all really cool but the lower half makes this outfit less good. My favs are Joe, Daisy and Anwen. Sorry Bla.

Weight allowances are the worst thing ever!!! When I went to Japan I bought so much stuff that they almost made me throw stuff away my bag was so heavy!! But I charmed them all… And they let me take everything home!! YAY
